A FEW WORDS FOR THE WAY
Turn a value into something you can do
A value becomes useful when it helps you choose. Words such as creativity, care or independence do not need to become slogans; they can become a small decision.
Look for a real moment
Recall a recent moment when you felt like yourself. What qualities were present? Helping a friend solve a problem might reveal care, curiosity or patience.
Make the connection explicit
If connection matters, a goal could be to make room for one unhurried conversation each week. Your action might be to message a friend on Tuesday and suggest a time.
Keep the action inside your influence
You can make the invitation. You cannot guarantee the response. Measure the part you can do and remain open to what you learn.
Put your value to work
Save your values in My Direction. When you make a goal or habit, choose the value it serves.
